I bought a samurai to make with the non rusty bits of my current samurai.

It has no engine in it, I'm trying to find a 1.6 on the cheap for it.

I'm really leaning toward Toyota axles and a 1.6 dohc engine, but we will see.

It's just now getting cold here and I don't have heat in my garage so it's probably going to be a standstill for a while.

But I did begin the tear down

Basically my samurai is the parts vehicle for the new one.

So my original one is just a frame right now, bought a 1.6 16valve engine for the new one.

Still trying to figure out what tire size I want to run so I can figure out the suspension.

It's in, it runs and drives.

Just need to get shocks and shock mounts, exhaust, radiator fan, build my axles, and fix my steering.
