Need more pop up lights in your life?

I'm a little surprised at the sheer variety of designs out there. I've also always wondered why Lotus, given their obsession with lowering weight, would use something so complex - and I assume heavier - than standard light design.

Anyway, I miss these on new cars.

yet the one car i've owned with pop ups isn't in there. mazda 323

or my mates old celica


i've had a passion for them since i was a little kid.. apparently from the age of five i was pointing at cars with "upgoing lights", and it took my dad till about 2 years ago to figure out what i actually meant by that lol

Yeah, the video seemed a little heavy on the Italian exotics, and a little light on the Japanese stuff (and the cheaper stuff, in total). Only one Miata - and a rough looking one at that.

Me too!

I feel they made "regular" cars such as the 240sx and ford probe look like sports cars :D

They had their time and place, but their day is done, IMO.
