Who knows? They're pretty fun. Will be interesting to see how they work around Paul Walker's death.

I heard they hired his brother to film the last few scenes they needed to do after he died. He apparently looks and sounds close enough that it won't be completely obvious.

I think this'll probably be it though. Was never a fan of Fast and the Furious, but at least they were real car movies. Sure they don't compare to Vanishing Point or Bullitt or any of the old ones, but they were still pretty decent for as dumb as they were.

This was news like 8 months ago? Then they talked about it even more when Paul Walker died.

Anyways, this will probably be the last one with this crew. They said a few years ago that F&F is a franchise, so expect other ones. F&F Tokyo Drift showed that they could make one without the original crew. It was decent.

I thought the last couple were pretty good... the ones with the Rock. I'll be seeing this one... Jason Stathum [sp?] is in it so I have some hopes. Him vs the Rock would be a cool fight scene or something....

I liked the first one, for the cheese if nothing else. Easy to forget that movie came out 13 years ago! Number two and three were pretty bad… especially three (Tokyo Drift). Two I can forgive because it introduced me to Eva Mendez. Four was decent and five and six were really good. You can tell someone at the studio decided to dump some serious money into five – and subsequently, six - and it showed. I think seven will be pretty good.

I really didn't think 3 was that bad. Compared to 2, the third could have been Oscar-worthy.

4 sucked

5&6 were good.

I'm looking forward to 7.

It was announced they are up to making 3 or 4 more. So long as its making someone money..... prequels were talked about, could be cool to see a movie set in the 70's or 80's with the parent of the current cast.
