Mitch McConnell's up for re-election, so every TV show is filled with shitty political attack ads, each shittier that the last. I cannot wait for the election to be over.

My absentee is sitting on my counter right now. I really need to set aside an hour or so to review everything. Need to mail that in pretty soon.

But, yea, political ads are the worst. It' never, "vote for me because of these reasons..." but more, "don't vote for my rival because he rapes kittens."

Politics is just getting out of control anymore.

According to McConnell's ads, apparently Alison Grimes hates coal. Like, hates the shit out of it as if coal were a human being and she will call upon the powers of Satan (who, according to the ads, is Obama) to banish all coal to the Phantom Zone. The ads also suggest that she will be unsatisfied until the families of Kentucky's coal workers are writhing in Purgatory. That's pretty much McConnell's entire campaign.
