The cancer of P.C. ideology and such is pervasive today and the taxpayer funded CBC is among many protagonists of hating my country and the western world in general.
There was a time when I was a strong supporter of the CBC as I felt the people of the nation regardless of where they lived as the CBC by mandate had to be made viable to everywhere in Canada so that any and all were able to see, read and hear news of our nation and the world. Today with grandness of the internet I no longer see how we need a taxpayer funded CBC.
Let the loony liberals (not the classic liberals of yesteryear), SJW's, 3rd wave feminists, other leftists, Islamists and all cultural-Marxists pay for the CBC and let it live or die in the market place.
Here is what I posted that was CONTENT DISABLED! 30+ years ago we'd have only accused such social/political censorship such from the then USSR, its East Bloc nations, Maoist China, North Korea, Castro's Cuba etc. Today this nonsense of censorship pervades our western world.
The west defeated the Soviets and their governance by 1991, but the communists, other leftists and other social/political stooges of such ideology live on and now not in a uniform so to speak walk and among us with desires to subvert us and our ways.

More leftist 'virtue signalling' nonsense. This author actually hates Canada. The Canada that has been a part of the greatest social experiment in human history, 'The Western Developed World'. It's true by her drivel of leftist, virtue signaling and pandering to malcontents.
Cultural diversity by virtue signalling is a social/political ploy to tear down one's own culture and a long hard fought for one, by people who were/are greater than this author will likely ever be. This is the culture of 'The Western Developed World'. The culture that is the one which should shine its light brightly upon the vast parts of world which are still in social, political and cultural darkness.
BTW, yes, before you leftists liberals rag on me, I was in part once much like this author in many of her liberal ways. But indoctrinated liberals only by personal back slapping and social media lust of virtue signalling will ignorantly and happily cut their own culture down to not appear out of social/political step with the narrative she/they have been indoctrinated to accept likely since grade school.
Canada is one of many vital nation states in preserving the western world culture and should not be subverted by backwards cultures and ideologies as these will only try to take us to darker times and/or places.
All people should be lawfully welcome to Canada and the western world for her /its needs. But only to become part of and a participant to our great social/cultural experiment and not to subvert it with bringing to us yours and often a level of social/political/cultural backwardness and injustice!
Not all cultures and ideologies have earned equality of respect. Many or even most should be abhorred and not embraced. Notably, not out of virtue signalling B.S.
