Fairly exxy to eat and stuff though and if living there like an actual local, I can imagine all tho tourism gets very annoying...

Hey, that's really cool. Edmonton to Victoria sounds like a step up in my book, although I've never been to either city. Check out the San Juan islands during the summer if you can. It's beautiful. Definitely a place to think about getting a boat, too.

FFS if Trump wins I might end up trying to sneak across the border and/or just camp around the islands the rest of my life.

Nice. Victoria looks like a really appealing place. I had a friend recently move out to the coast. He gets paid less but somehow it doesn't seem to have brought his lifestyle down much.

Being up in the most Northwest corner of the PNW, I imagine Victoria is just as beautiful.
