Weird, right? Can you believe it? It's like the punchline to a bad joke or something. "Yeah, so then the mechanic says, maybe that's why they built them out of cardboard!"

Here's a picture. Beautiful 40 year old soggy cardboard with insulation glued/stapled around it. :? :lol:

My favorite part is how you can see where the previous owner/mechanic tried to reinforce it by stapling part of a cardboard box to it! :lol:

I had a Envoy Epic (Vauxhall Viva) and the FIREWALL was made of cardboard. :o
