Oh man, I hated Storm at the time. Does anyone remember when him and I got into it and he posted a photo of himself holding up something like a couple hundred dollars in cash to prove how much better he was?

Speaking of which, another trip down memory lane... ROD/Edge, I think you were there for this... remember the Car & Driver forums circa 2002-03? Remember that guy Shaman and his crusade to declare all non-RWD cars "not sports cars?" A sports car MUST have rear wheel drive. And torque is ALL that matters in an engine.

Hey, whatever became of Camaro SS 01? I credit him with teaching me that "the revs don't go up as fast" when you hit the gas at higher speeds vs. from a standing start.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that! The RWD thing stands out in my mind, but there was a whole little laundry list, wasn't there. Why didn't the Mustang qualify? Too heavy, I guess?

I just looked up "sports car" on dictionary.com. I think this would have sent Shaman into conniptions: "a small, high-powered automobile with long, low lines, usually seating two persons." But, the drive wheels! The power to weight ratio! The gear ratio! Oh no!
