I need a life coach

My new job is boring as fuck, I hate my apartment, for some reason I don't think I'm ever really going to happy working in automotive because of the pussification of cars.

I really want to buy a house, but with an unhappy life not sure im in the right area. Tempted to start applying to jobs outside of Michigan

Buy a house, stop wasting money on rent. If you do things right your mortgage payment shouldn't be too much higher than your rent.

Michigan has changed a lot from what I remember. Honestly it seems in many ways went the wrong direction.

But really I think there is only about 10 more years left in the conventional automotive industry before electric and autonomous cars start to kill market share

How is Salt Lake City? I've never spent too much time west but it looks nice.

I'm tempted to say that I could use a life coach as well. But I'm not sure that's actually the case. Reality is I probably just need someone to tell me to stop doing stupid shit - like buying cars and then selling them a year later, and being a lawyer.

Having "dated" a life coach (went out a few times) I don't think anyone needs a life coach.

If a life coach is 26, lives with her parents and has 5 or 6 cats, and has to ask advice to her gay friends about everything? Yeah nah....


What you might want to do, though, is maybe on a weekend, sit back, make a list of things you like, things you want, and where you want your life to go, and see what timeframe you're thinking, and go for it

Isn't a life coach basically someone who has failed at their own life? Why would you want to take advice from them?

Yeah I would never hire a life coach, I think I can handle planning on my own without a college dropout hippie parents basement dweller telling me what to do. It's just hard for me to measure my own happiness, like where I am now vs where I could be.

In all honesty a sex life might be nice, but so is better weather and not be surrounded by fat lazy fuckers

Or pick up a classic orphan car as a 2nd car.

I really only brought up salt lake because I found a job opening there with a certain bicycle company which is closely related to my experience. And I really feel like automotive is a declining career path.
